What does Ingram Fulfillment Services Inc. provide?
We provide direct to consumer fulfillment services such as order processing, distribution, product fulfillment, inventory, and account management.

How soon can I start?
Becoming an active client of Ingram Fulfillment Services requires just three simple steps!

  1. Complete and submit the Prospective Client Application on the home page.
     
  2. Once we have reviewed and approved this application, a Credit Application will need to be completed.
     
  3. The final step is to go through testing, this means creating and submitting files that will test both our system and yours and verify that you are ready to become an active client. The testing process could take 6 weeks or more* based upon your company’s specific needs.
     

*The testing process can be completed in as little as three to four weeks or several months depending on the variables being tested and your commitment to the testing process.

How can I obtain content information about books I plan to provide on my site?
In order to fill your site with appropriate content, we recommend investing in a database such as content@ingram. content@ingram provides specific details and information about our stock and is updated to inform you of new or out of stock titles as well as nightly stock updates of product availability.

Do I need to purchase the Ingram database to be an IFSI client?
No, it is not necessary to purchase content@ingram to be an IFSI client though other databases may contain items not stocked by Ingram.

How can I place my orders with IFSI?
We support ANSI X.12 and ASCII electronic file formats, sent via FTP.

Do you provide other products besides books?
We provide audio books, calendars, and maps.

Can you handle International orders?
Yes*. Our international carrier delivers to every country in the world.
*Due to customs requirements all international orders require pricing information to appear on the shipping label and packing slip. Your customer is responsible for all duties and taxes upon delivery.

Do you provide real time inventory information?
With your subscription to stock@ingram you can download database updates six times per day. We also have available automated, 24 hour-access stock inquiry systems, which allow you to check stock at all of our Fulfillment warehouses.

How do you handle returns?
We currently offer consumer direct and bulk returns to be shipped from our partnering company.
