One Ingram success story is Johnny Secrest, who started his career at Ingram in 1976, as a warehouse stocker, and worked his way up to Senior Vice President of Logistics Operations. "Since I started at Ingram, I have always been encouraged to learn more, to develop new skills, and to advance," Johnny says. "Since the beginning of my career, it has been clear that Ingram is committed to quality, both in customer service as well as our commitment to associate development."

In all that Ingram does, the company is driven by the values of the Ingram family and the founder of Ingram Industries Inc., the late Bronson Ingram. At a leadership conference in 1994, a student asked Mr. Ingram what the word 'leadership' meant to him. Mr. Ingram replied, "Leadership is being willing to do it yourself, being willing to help others do it, and not being interested in taking all the credit."
